Legacy Films

More Than Just Memories

Everyone has a story that deserves to be heard and kept. A legacy film preserves the voice, the laughter, and the lived wisdom of someone you love, so your family can hold onto it forever.

What Is A Legacy Film

A conversation that becomes a family treasure

A legacy film is a professionally produced, guided interview that captures a person’s life story — their memories, reflections, humor, and voice — in a way that feels natural, unhurried, and true to who they are.

There are no scripts and no pressure. We guide the conversation with thoughtful questions and plenty of room for the moments that matter most — the pauses, the laughter, the stories your family tells around the table.

The result is something your family will return to again and again:

•  A meaningful gift for children and grandchildren

•  A way to preserve family history before it’s lost

•  A lasting record of a milestone — a birthday, retirement, or life well-lived

•  An archive that grows more valuable with every passing year

Types of Legacy Films

Family Legacy Films

A filmed life story told in your loved one’s own words — from childhood memories to hard-won wisdom. , designed for people who want a complete, unhurried portrait of a life. The finished film typically runs 30–60 minutes and becomes a deeply personal family record.

Video Biographies

A film that weaves together interviews, photographs, and archival materials to tell a shared family story. This is our most in-depth offering. Ideal for families who want to preserve collective history, traditions, and memory— traditions, turning points, and the threads that hold a family together.

Milestone Films

A shorter film created to mark a meaningful moment — an 80th birthday, a 50th anniversary, a retirement, an engagement, or a remembrance. We work with you to shape the film around the person and the occasion, creating something your family will treasure long after the event.

Our Approach

We make the experience as meaningful as the film

Our process is grounded in years of interview experience and deep listening. We create a calm, comfortable setting where people feel at ease — free to reflect, remember, and speak openly.

Before filming, we spend time getting to know your family. We talk through who the film is for, which stories matter most, and how you imagine sharing the finished piece. By the time we arrive with cameras, your loved one already feels like they’re talking with someone they trust.

Every film is produced to documentary standards: professional lighting and sound, Emmy Award-winning camerawork, and careful editing that honors the pacing and personality of the person on screen.

Your Questions, Answered

  • This is very common — and completely understandable. Most people warm up within the first few minutes once they realize there’s no script, no performance, and no wrong answers. We’ve spent years making people feel comfortable on camera, and your loved one will always have control over the pace and direction of the conversation.

  • We’ve spent many years talking with people about meaningful, sometimes painful parts of their lives. We move at a gentle, respectful pace, and your loved one always decides what they’re comfortable sharing. After filming, you’ll review the edit together and choose what to include in the final film.

  • That’s entirely up to you. Most families keep their legacy films private, shared only with relatives and close friends. We deliver a private link and downloadable file. We will never share or use your film publicly without your written permission.

  • projects vary based on scope, length, and complexity. Legacy films start at $750.00, and more in-depth video biographies are typically in the $6500.00 range. We’re happy to discuss pricing on our initial call so you have a clear picture before committing
