Washington, DC, 2020—before anyone knew how it would end.
Filmed as events unfolded and revisited five years later, The Year We Held Our Breath brings together firsthand accounts from Anacostia, Capitol Hill, and the H Street Corridor.
There is no narrator. The people who lived the year carry the story in their own words.
